Thermal Shock Resistant

Thermal shock resistant surfaces can withstand high temperature fluctuations, such as underneath ovens or where forced steam cleaning is used. It also means that temperature fluctuations will not cause a loosening of the bond to the concrete. Urethane cements are designed to protect concrete from thermal shock, as an alternative to epoxy coatings, which do not allow the proper transfer of heat.
