This document is designed to serve as a guide for outlining detailed domestic U.S. Authorized Distributor Inquiry information.

You should first inquire as to whether or not a distributorship is available in your area. Visit the FIND A DISTRIBUTOR PAGE to see if there is already a distributor located there. Then scroll to the bottom of that page to get a idea as to the expected sales potential for various areas.


Elite Crete Systems Incorporated recognizes that the Architectural Concrete Overlay industry is primarily a regional type business. The products used to create the various finishes, surface restoration and flooring are typically heavy in weight and/or may be considered hazardous by DOT standards. The typical contractor prefers to have the ability to make last minute decisions about materials needed and most would agree that they would rather make purchase decisions at their suppliers location rather than ahead of time, only to have to hassle with shipping companies, damaged good and ordering procedures. The solution to operating a successful regional type business is to have dedicated, hard working authorized distributors to service and supply materials and assistance within the desired markets.

We want our customers to realize that the installation as well as the distribution of our architectural concrete overlay products as it truly is, a construction and/or supply trade. Authorized Distribution offers the right company and/or individual the opportunity to distribute, sell, market and represent the Elite Crete Systems product line and services. In turn, we facilitate the distribution process with major national and international marketing, advertising, detailed advanced training at our facility, on-site training assistance, business development assistance, 24 hour a day technical assistance, web site development, marketing tools and much more.

Without sounding pessimistic, we are fully aware that everyone who makes an inquiry to become a distributor has a desire to succeed, but few have the work ethic to produce success. We are not a franchise and certainly do not want to mis-lead anyone into believing we are. We are very simply a manufacturer of specialty construction type products used for creating architectural concrete finishes or elegant seamless flooring, and for protecting as well as restoring concrete surfaces. We do not offer distributorships to contractors simply looking for a better price. Being a distributor is a full time job. Listed below is a brief description of what may be expected from our distributors:

  • Stock enough material for your local and immediate customer base. This inventory will initially be smaller but as your customer base grows and their usage increases, you will need to increase your inventory quantities.

  • Maintain an office/warehouse/training facility suitable for your needs. A higher profile retail facility is overkill but you will need enough space to inventory your material as well as properly train 10 to 20 persons each month. Our experience has shown that 1,500 to 2,500 sq. ft. is a good starting point. Note: Some distributors when just getting started are encouraged to utilize our advanced training facility in Merrillville, Indiana initially.

  • Tag team advertise and market. Send out mailers, make internet contact, advertise locally, etc., whatever it takes to get people interested in making money in this industry and get them to a training seminar.

  • Provide unsurpassed customer and technical assistance. First and foremost this is a service industry. Yes, as a distributor you will supply materials, but service is the key to business.

Who Qualifies - Elite Crete Systems Incorporated requires that all Distributors have ample experience and application time working the products of a similar type. This is necessary to ensure proper training techniques. Most Distributors were once installers/contractors of Elite Crete Systems products or similar products and have exceptional knowledge of all aspects of applications.

Although Distributors are not franchises, Elite Crete Systems requires that Distributors are exclusive to our product line and not supply, represent, use or recommend other competitive or alternative products. However, Distributors are encouraged to offer such products as: design tape, squeegees, gauge rakes, chemical stripper, diamond blades, etc. that assist contractors by readily providing such products. If you have questions concerning whether a product will be detrimental to a distributorship, please feel free to call and speak with a Technical Engineer. It is not our intent to police this issue but Distributors are given much assistance and lead generation designed to promote and sell our product line as well as technical assistance and more.

What Does Elite Crete Systems Offer:

1. Technical Assistance: This is key since customers will continue to have questions and will obviously need the right answers. As the industry leader and supplier, we have a combined experience and knowledge that is unsurpassed.

2. Quality & Concentrated Products: First and foremost QUALITY. Our products have the track record of being high performance products with references to back our claims. Why concentrated you ask. The ability for manufacturers to offer concentrated products has always been available. Yes, offering concentrated products decrease our initial product profit. But by offering concentrated products when able, allows the contractors to remain more profitable and stay in business. Why should the manufacturer add water to a product or inexpensive solvent to a product if the contractor can?

3. Unmatched Product Versatility: Although all of the systems offered in our product line somewhat revolve around "coatings", our systems are far and away the most versatile in the industry. Systems include; broom finishes, splatter textures, knock downs, stenciled applications, thin stamped overlays, interior flooring, exterior coatings, industrial epoxy systems and much more. Being versatile is critical in this business and our contractor customers can offer any number of finishes to maintain a steady stream of business 12 months a year in any climate.

4. Leads, leads, leads. We have an extremely extensive internal advertising program, spending on average $1,500 every 9 to 12 hours on on-line advertise alone. That of course does not include an additional $500K on various publication advertising. Another $350K on trade shows as well as other effective forms of advertising. The average Authorized Distributor received between 2 to 3 qualified leads per day in 2005 because we pass 100% of all inquires on to our Authorized Distributors.

5. Marketing Assistance: As a Distributor you will receive any leads from inquiring persons within your geographical area. These leads may be the result of; the Elite Crete Systems web site, various magazine advertisements such as Concrete Construction and Entrepreneur Magazine, various specifier & architects handbooks such as Blue Book, various internet advertising, various national exhibition shows and more.

6. Marketing & Advertising Tools: In addition to simply marketing, we can provide several different brochures, exhibit booths, banners, photos, interactive information CD’s to be played in any PC, blank form head containing the Elite Crete Systems logo for duplicating professional marketing & technical documents and more. We also have an agreement arranged with a national business forms company so Authorized Distributors can order invoices, envelopes, estimate forms, door hangers, business cards and more, all containing the Elite Crete Systems logo but with your personalized company information. Inquire for details.

7. Training Assistance: Under most circumstances we can send one of our Technical Engineers to assist with your pre-scheduled training seminars. This service is available provided that sufficient notification has been made, our schedule allows for the dates, a worthwhile amount of persons are scheduled to attend and other distributor expectations are met.

8. Drop Shipping: This service is provided so distributors are not initially required to carry large amounts of inventory. Drop shipping also decreases expense since shipping is not charged twice.

9. Specification Assistance: It may become necessary for additional detailed information be provided to obtain jobs offered by architects, engineers or project managers. We assist with the technical aspect to ensure you or your customers obtain the job.

Fact is, authorized distributorships are not only profitable but they are very rewarding as well. We wont lead you to believe it is a simple daily task, we have many authorized distributors who are very successful. However, they are also very dedicated to their job and to their customers.
